Dr.Sathya Vignes completed his Master’s in Orthopaedics (MS ORTHO) from RGGH- ( Cuddalore Government Medical College) and gained his initial Orthopaedic and complex trauma expertise from Royapettah Govt Hospital Chennai, following which he pursued his passion for Arthroscopy and sports medicine from the most prestigious ISAKOS recognised international training centre Ortho one hospital under his mentor Dr David V Rajan

He then travelled across India to work with eminent professors in this field.

He worked in Shoulder Arthroscopy department of Dheenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune with Dr Sirish Pathak and Dr Ashish Babulkar.

He is fellowship trained in Sports rehabilitation medicine from Apollo hospital.

He then completed his international fellowship in Shoulder arthroscopy and Shoulder replacement in Samsung hospital, Seoul, South Korea for 6 months.

He has also had the privilege to work with Dr Narendra Vaidya of Lokmanya hospital where he got fellowship training in Knee replacement surgery and Robotic surgery

Dr.Sathya has vast experience in tackling primary knee ligament ACL/PCL/MCL/LCL surgeries and complex knee multi-ligament surgeries.

Shoulder arthroscopy surgeries for dislocation and rotator Cuff tears, Elbow and wrist arthroscopy as well.

He is Fellowship trained in Knee Preservation Surgery and Cartilage repair.

He has over 10 years of expertise in this field  and has successfully operated more than 3000 Arthroscopy Surgeries in and around Chennai as of 2023.
