Dr. C Seetharaman is a highly accomplished Musculoskeletal Radiologist with over 17 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with a dedicated focus on musculoskeletal imaging since 2017. He serves as the Lead Consultant – Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging and has developed advanced expertise in MRI and CT evaluation of sports injuries, degenerative disorders, complex trauma, musculoskeletal tumors, peripheral nerve pathologies, plexus lesions, and muscle disorders.

He completed a prestigious 3-month Visiting Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University in 2016. This international exposure strengthened his expertise in advanced musculoskeletal MRI protocols, structured reporting, and evidence-based imaging practices.

Dr. Seetharaman plays a pivotal role in multidisciplinary patient care, working closely with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, arthroscopy teams, spine surgeons, neurologists, rheumatologists, and musculoskeletal oncologists. His imaging inputs are integral to surgical planning, pre-operative mapping, tumor staging, nerve entrapment evaluation, and complex trauma assessment. He also contributes extensively to post-operative and long-term follow-up imaging, ensuring accurate assessment of graft integrity, implant positioning, complications, and treatment response.

In addition to clinical excellence, he has been actively involved in academic training and mentorship. He has been teaching DNB Radiology postgraduate students since 2012 and serves as a thesis guide, fostering research and academic development in musculoskeletal radiology.

A Gold Medallist in DNB Radiodiagnosis, Dr. Seetharaman has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and 6 book chapters, reflecting his strong commitment to academic excellence, research advancement, and collaborative patient-centered care.
