He serves as Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, where he has played a transformative role in building one of the region’s most respected neuro-spine programs. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Spinal Surgery, a peer-reviewed international academic journal advancing spinal research and surgical innovation.
After completing his MCh Neurosurgery from Madurai Medical College, he pursued advanced fellowship training in microsurgical and spinal techniques at Fujita Health University, Japan, refining his expertise in complex brain and spine procedures. Over more than three decades, he has been at the forefront of microsurgical spine stabilization, cerebrovascular surgery, skull base tumor management, and craniovertebral junction surgery.
Dr. Parthiban has held numerous prestigious national and international leadership positions, including roles with the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies and the Neuro Spinal Surgeons Association of India.
