Dr. M. Prabu is Nephrology associated with Erode KMCH.

Academic Excellence:

  • He graduated M.B.B.S from Rajah Muthiah Medical college in 2012.
  • Fellowship in diabetology from Royal Liverpool Academy, UK – 2018.
  • He graduated Doctorate of National Board in Nephrology from Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital, Coimbatore – 2021.
  • Nephrology Speciality from Federation of the Royal College of Physicians(Edinburg,UK).
  • European Speciality in Nephrology.

Training And Experience :

After completing MD General Medicine, he worked as Senior Resident and Assistant Professor in department of Medicine at PSG Institute of Medical Science and Research, Coimbatore during 2016 – 2018.

 He had an excellent exposure to renal transplantation (around 800 renal transplants) during his 39 months of residentship at KMCH, Coimbatore. He also had an excellent exposure to ABO incompatible transplant, Steroid free transplants, HLA sensitised transplant. 

Post DrNB Nephro he underwent Peritoneal Dialysis training at SVIMS,Andhra.
