Dr. S. Aravindh is a distinguished senior gastroenterologist with over 25 years of clinical excellence, associated with KMCH since 2009. Over the years, he has built a reputation for managing complex and challenging gastrointestinal and liver patients in KMCH, combining sharp clinical insight with compassionate patient care.

Known for his precision in diagnosis and empathetic approach to treatment, Dr. Aravindh believes that effective healing begins with truly understanding his patients. His areas of special expertise include advanced and highly specialized procedures such as ERCP, Diagnostic and Therapeutic EUS, and Third Space Endoscopy techniques including ESD (Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection) and POEM (Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy)—placing him at the forefront of modern minimally invasive gastroenterology.

Dr. Aravindh’s strong academic foundation began with an MD in General Medicine from Kilpauk Medical College, followed by a DM in Gastroenterology from Stanley Medical College. He has also completed advanced therapeutic endoscopy fellowships under the guidance of ESGE (European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) from Copenhagen, Denmark. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge is reflected in his active participation in research, specialized workshops, and numerous published papers within the field of gastroenterology and hepatology.
