As a dedicated Oncoimaging specialist in the region, Dr. Sriman Rajasekaran bridge the gap between radiology and clinical oncology, ensuring that every scan translates into a definitive roadmap for treatment.

Since 2016, Dr. Sriman has been a vital member of the KMCH Radiology team, specializing in the high-stakes environment of tumor board decision-making.

  • Multidisciplinary Leadership: Plays a central role in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings, collaborating with pathologists, surgeons, and medical/radiation oncologists to tailor individualized cancer therapies.
  • Standardizing Excellence: Pioneered the induction of globally recognized structured reporting formats at KMCH, including LI-RADS (Liver), PI-RADS (Prostate), and specialized Pre/Post-treatment Rectal Cancer protocols (Tumor Regression Grade).
  • Clinical Integration: Focuses on removing diagnostic subjectivity to increase the consistency and accuracy of oncological results.

  • Society Leadership: Serves as the Joint Secretary of the Society of Oncologic Imaging, India (SOII).
  • Academic Mentorship: Active DNB Post-graduate Teacher and Guide, shaping the next generation of radiologists at KMCH.
