    Radiation Oncology

    Our center provides state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology treatments, including RapidArc therapy with IMRT (Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy) and IGRT (Image-Guided Radiation Therapy). We specialize in precision techniques such as Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), as well as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). Using advanced 4D breathing-adapted IGRT/IMRT, we deliver a high tumor dose while significantly reducing radiation-related side effects. The innovative SBRT treatment drastically shortens the treatment duration to just 10-14 days, compared with the traditional 6-8 weeks regimen, enhancing patient convenience and comfort without compromising treatment effectiveness.

    Brachytherapy

    Our expertise includes highly specialized brachytherapy, a form of internal radiation therapy where a radioactive source is precisely placed inside the tumor area using applicators. We perform intra-operative brachytherapy with extremely high precision, a cutting-edge technique practiced in only a few centers globally. This targeted approach allows maximal tumor control while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues.

    Medical Oncology

    Our Medical Oncology department offers comprehensive treatment using the latest chemotherapy regimens and targeted therapies for both solid tumors and hematological malignancies. The specially designed exclusive day care center enables patients to receive treatment without hospital admission, providing a comfortable and stress-free environment. With close monitoring by our experienced oncologists and oncology nurses, we ensure safe and effective administration of systemic cancer therapies.

    Nuclear Medicine

    We are equipped with the latest whole body PET-CT scan technology for accurate cancer staging and monitoring. Our nuclear medicine services include iodine radioisotope therapy for diagnosis and treatment of thyroid disorders and thyroid cancers, as well as SPECT imaging for detecting bone metastases.     Cytotoxic Preparation unit

    We have established one of the most modern Cytotoxic Chemotherapy Preparation Units in India. This facility is designed with strict protocols to ensure medication safety, contamination protection, and adherence to international quality standards. Our preparation unit minimizes medication wastage and assures precise dosing, enhancing patient safety and treatment efficacy.

    CVAD – Central Venous Access devices.

    A major challenge during chemotherapy is vein accessibility, particularly for patients requiring multiple cycles, children, and patients with delicate veins. KMCH offers an extensive range of Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD) to address this. These include:
     PICC lines (Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters) inserted at the elbow.
     Implantable Chemotherapy Ports, placed under the collarbone and discreetly hidden.
     Hickman Catheters for long-term access. These devices reduce the risk of chemotherapy extravasation (leakage), minimize discomfort from repeated needle punctures, and improve overall patient compliance. Additionally, we provide long-duration chemotherapy using elastomeric pumps that allow treatment administration over 48-72 hours at home, enhancing patient convenience while reducing hospital stays and costs.
